Chartham Hatch
Village Hall
Welcome
Situated four miles west south west of Canterbury and close to the North Downs Way, Chartham Hatch Village Hall is conveniently located at the junction of Gravel Hill and Bigbury Road.
Originally built as the Village School in ca. 1873, the hall still retains much of its original Victorian charm. It has a fully fitted kitchen and recently refurbished toilet facilities, which include a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities.
It is for hire at very competitive rates.
The Village Hall Committee, which is elected at its Annual General Meeting in May, meets on the last Thursday of every month to discuss the general running of the hall and the organisation of events, and always welcomes fresh ideas and helping hands.
All newcomers to the village receive a Welcome Pack produced by Chartham Parish Council which can also be downloaded from their web-site (http://www.charthampc.org.uk).
